Ni Hao, taking a break from writing my IR paper to let you all know that my Tibet plans fell through. Guess I wasted all that blog space for nothing. In the end instead of the 8-10 kids we thought we had interested, we had 5. Combined with the fact that if we were going to be able to get back to school on time we'd have to fly at least one way, the costs and time constriants were just too great.
So Tibet didn't work out, but on the plus side I have a great excuse to come back...
Have new plans in the working, but I think I'll wait till I've bought my train ticket before I give you my itinerary.

It wasn't a waste of blog space at all! It was fun to feel your excitement at the possibility. Look forward to hearing about where you'll end up -- the idea of doing some relief work sounded really good to me, but you know I tend to be a little Miss Do-Good (when I'm not being a big Miss Bitchy Pants). Does Ni Hao mean hello? Love Mom
ReplyDeleteSo that's where Linz got the quote, "I tend to be a little Miss Do-Good.......". I had wondered. How funny!!!! It sounded like something Linz would say.
ReplyDeleteLet us know where you end up. My vote is still for some place warm (with sunscreen).

You'll have an adventure wherever you go! Maeve thought Everest base camp sounded pretty amazing... You're already a Big Mr. Do-good, so you'll figure it out. Meanwhile, we're watching the annaul plywood migration here in BH (off windows to points unknown). Have fun planning and travelling!
